What happens if you have more Muslim colleagues than non-Muslim ones in the season of Raya Puasa?

It will be 'fun'... part my House Officer roster for next month is like this:-

12/10/07 - Foo 1st call
13/10/07 - Foo 3rd call
14/10/07 - Foo 2nd call
15/10/07- emergency leave 'fatigue'

May God bless us a good holy month. Bless the ward, bless my nurses, bless my patients, bless the young doctors.

One of my palliative patients, with advanced lung cancer and with malignant insult to the spine, causing him to be bedridden, and paralysed - was being prayed for by his caring wife.

The bedsore is getting bad, the diarrhoea is recurring, and the hiccups have started.

I watched from far.

Should I pray along? The heart was weak.

Would the metastases go away? I dare not say.

Sigh, sigh,sigh.

The doctor is helpless.
